Wholesale prices inflation surged to 14.23% in November
- Wholesale prices inflation surged to 14.23% on the back of higher food prices
- Jumped to a five-month high of 12.54% in October and it is 10th month above 10%
- Mineral oils, Basic metals, Crude petroleum, Natural gas, Chemicals products and Food prices hardened in November
- Fuel and power prices rose 39.81% versus 37.18% in October
- Manufactured product prices rose 11.92%, against 12.04%
- Wholesale inflation had declined to 10.66% year-on-year in September, It climbed back to 12.54% (Y-o-Y) in October
- And further to 14.23% in November, the highest level seen in the current year
