OTT (Over-the-Top) platforms like Netflix, Amazon Prime, etc now come under the ambit of the Information & Broadcasting ministry which has triggered fears of censorship. Tech policy expert and MediaNama founder Nikhil Pahwa tells GoNews correspondent Sidharth Pandey that the I&B ministry has now more power over the content of these platforms and can force censorship.
