North India is in the grip of severe cold and cold wave. From Jammu and Kashmir to Rajasthan, people are shivering from cold. In many states, minimum temp. has slipped below 0, while in some states, Saturday is being described as the coldest day of the season so far.

On Saturday, Temprature recorded at 5 degree Celsius in Ayanagar and Ridge of the capital Delhi. According to the Indian Meteorological Department, this is the lowest temperature of the season so far. The maximum temperature in Delhi can be 20 degree Celsius.

Cold has knocked in other parts of North India as well. On Friday, Churu in Rajasthan and its adjoining Fatehpur Sikar recorded a minimum temperature of minus 1.1 degrees and minus 3.3 degrees respectively.
