The global Slow Food movement completes 30 years fighting for “good, clean, and fair,” food practices. Slow Food is against the industrial approach to agriculture and the standardisation of food cultures across the world. The Slow Food movement strives to prevent the loss of traditions and knowledge linked to food production that protects ecosystems, fights for climate change social justice. December 10 is celebrated as Terra Madre Day which brings together all who share the vision of a food system that supports local economies, environment, biodiversity, taste and tradition.
