Coronavirus cases in the country have crossed 1.5 lakh and the death toll is at over 4,300. Over the past 24 hours, 6,387 new cases and 170 deaths were reported across the country, according to the Health Ministry's latest bulletin. The latest numbers raise the national total to 151,767 cases and 4,337 deaths.

The gap in COVID-19 cases between India and Turkey has drastically reduced. India is just short of 8,000 cases than Turkey, with a nearly equal death toll in both countries.

While Turkey has 32,858 active cases, India’s active cases stand at 82,172.
