COVID-19: Record 6,654 New Cases Within 24 Hours, Cases Cross 1.25 Lakh
India recorded 6,654 new COVID-19 cases in the past 24 hours — the country’s biggest one-day surge so far, and 137 deaths, said the Health Ministry on Saturday. This raises the nationwide total to 125,101 cases and 3,720 deaths. According to Johns Hopkins University, active cases in India have reached close to 70,000. Only the US, Brazil, Russia and France have more active cases than India.
