Health Ministry Refuses To Release Information Under RTI On COVID-19 Vaccines Approval
The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare has declined to provide information under the Right to Information Act (RTI Act) about the data based on which the government approved two COVID-19 vaccines for emergency use in India. An RTI activist had sought "copies of the evidence, data, studies based on which clearance was given to COVID-19 vaccines manufactured by Serum Institute of India and Bharat Biotech."
