Indore: COVID-19 Patient Billed Rs 6 Lakh By Private Hospital

Despite ICMR's guidelines, a COVID-19 patient was handed over a bill of Rs 6 lakh by a private hospital in Indore for a period of 22 days. The patient was kept in isolation and Rs 9,000 were being charged from him every day. Surprisingly, apart from these six lakh rupees, Rs 1 lakh was spent on medicines, which were purchased from outside. The patient's family alleged that a lot of money was made in the name of the PPE kit and isolation charge, Rs. 1 lakh was collected in the name of the doctor's visiting fees
