Britain is hosting this year’s COP 26 summit, an important summit on climate change which has assumed paramount significance as being one of the last chances of its kind to limit the worst effects of global warming.

What is COP 26 And Why Is It Important?

The present average global temperature is 1.2°C above pre-industrial levels, and the aim is to limit it to 1.5°C within this century. However, some scientific experts have also said that no matter what measures are taken, this level will inadvertently reach 2°C above preindustrial levels by the end of the century.

Climate change has caused various disasters such as unseasonal rains causing floods, huge wildfires in forests, and agricultural problems as well.
