Tribute To The Rat Who Sniffed Out Landmines, TB, And Saved Lives
Magawa was a rat who spent most of its life sniffinf out land mines in Cambodia and today we pay tribute to his work and the lives he changed. He was part of the HeroRAT initiative that is run by the Belgian nonprofit APOPO. Not only landmines, these hero rats also detect tuberculosis (TB).
