US President Joe Biden At UN General Assembly
US President Joe Biden adressed the United Nations General Assembly On September 21 2021. He announced an “Era Of Relentless Diplomacy” after an “Era Of Relentless War”. He informed the world on US efforts to supply global vaccinations, and reestablishing itself on the world stage.
The main concerns of the United States as outlined by him in the speech were "ending this #pandemic; addressing the #climatecrisis; managing the shifts in global power dynamics; shaping the rules of the world on vital issues like trade, cyber and emerging technologies; and facing the threat of terrorism as it stands today.”
He also batted for a two-state solution to the #IsraelPalestine crisis, and said that the US has joined 100 nations in supporting assistance for #Afghanistan and holding the #Taliban to "expectations" of #humanrights particularly for #women and #girls He announced that the US will double its #climatefunding to avert the #climatecrisis. Biden emphasised that the Us was back on the global stage, reaffirming commitments to #NATO, #WHO, #ParisAgreement
