Akhilesh Yadav and Omprakash Rajbhar addressed a public meeting in Hardoi, Uttar Pradesh today. Akhilesh Yadav, former Uttar Pradesh CM and national president of Samajwadi Party, said that the people of UP had decided to wipe out the BJP this time and they will not be able to face the people. Many small enterprises closed down in the BJP rule in the state, and its result is that many people do not employment. he addressed the farmers in the gathering and again reminded them that the BJP had promised that their incomes would double, ut in reality they were not able t osell their produce at the correct price in any mandi. 

He then came to the issue of electricity and said that that while the Samajwadi Party had built the maximum power generation plants, the poor under the BJP had gotten an "electric shock". He then brought up the Lakhimpur Kheri incident when "farmers were crushed" and compared the BJP government to the British governmen't atrocities in Jallianwalah Bagh.
