Bangladesh At Top, Nigeria Second In Terms Of Foreign Prisoners Languishing In Indian Jails
The number of foreign prisoners languishing in Indian jails has increased in the last two years. According to govt figures, a total of 5,608 foreign prisoners are lodged in Indian jails, with most undertrials from Bangladesh (1,043), followed by Nigeria (686) and Nepal (517)
