'Being A pilot Doesn't Mean You Own The Plane' | Akhilesh Yadav's Dig On Kushinagar Airport Launch

Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated a new international airport at Kushinagar, Uttar Pradesh today on Wednesday. Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Yogi Adityanath, was also present at the inauguration ceremony. However, the former CM of UP has made a different claim, saying that the process of developing the airport began during his time in office.

He said in a series of tweets that the Yogi government has not laid a single brick for the airport, and yet here they were inaugurating the work done by the Samajwadi Party.

He took a dig at the ruling party for turning up with all the inauguration material, i.e., scissors, ribbons, garlands, and sweets, without having done the work to deserve that. He said further: ‘Those in the BJP should remember that becoming the pilot doesn’t mean you own the plane’.

Yadav said that the ground (runway) on which the BJP is now taking flight had been prepared by someone else.
