Sisodiya referred to a multilevel parking building built in Green Park area of Delhi near AIIMS, which was inaugurated in November last year and then collapsed. He expressed relief that no one was killed or injured during the collapse, but alleged that this is because the building was of substandard quality due to corruption and misuse of funds.The Delhi government has ordered a probe into the incident. He has said that this is a"very serious matter" and also alleged that the BJP "extorted" money from surrounding shopkeepers and people in the name of various fees and then gave them this result.

He said that indulging in corruption with the public's money and playing with their lives and safety will not be tolerated, and that there will be a thorough probe to determine responsibility and punishments for the building's collapse.
