The PMO must end the growing controversy over PM Cares fund by sharing information and putting it in the public domain, says RTI and rights campaigner Commodore Lokesh Batra (Retired) while speaking to GoNews correspondent Sidharth Pandey. Introduced hastily in the wake of coronavirus crisis, details of the PM Cares fund are not being shared under RTI because it is set up as a trust and not open to RTI or auditing by the CAG. A petition has been filed in the Delhi High Court which may be heard on June 10th.
