Even As Flyers Increase, Domestic Air Traffic Heading For A Sharp Decline
Over 78,000 air passengers flew on domestic routes on Sunday. However, despite increasing numbers ever since in-country flights were partially opened up on May 25 after a COVID-19 shutdown , this fiscal is set to see a fall of between 41-46% in domestic air travellers compared to the last financial year, according to ratings agency ICRA.
