On Aug 5, it was not the first time that an Indian Prime Minister laid the foundation stone for the construction of the Ram Temple. Back in 1989, then PM Rajiv Gandhi had opened Ram Temple's gates for 'Bhumi Pujan'.The doors of the temple which had been closed for years were opened.
