The death toll in Telangana due to rain and flood related incidents has jumped to 70 after days of heavy rains pounding the state. In Hyderabad, more than 50 people have lost their lives. The state government estimates a loss of Rs 5,000 crore due to deluge. At the same time, more than 15 people have died due to heavy rains and floods in Karnataka.
