Lakhs of slum dwellers find themselves on the verge of homelessness after the Supreme Court's Aug 31 order to demolish 48,000 slum dwellings around the Delhi railway tracks. GoNews' Anjali Ojha visits one such slum near a railway track in Old Delhi where a local says he has been living there for 40-50 years but now after the court's decision uncertainty looms over his and others future. Many say the top court's decision will not only take away the roof from their head but jeopardise their livelihood as well since many work in a nearby market and will have to find employment again after relocating.
