Assam police and security personnel have seized weapons on a large scale in Chirag district. During the search operation led by the Additional SP of the district, this feat was found and assault rifles, weapons and ammunition were recovered from the ground. According to Chirang police, the recovered weapons included an HK series rifle, an AK series rifle, two Chinese pistols, two Chinese grenades, a rifle with 93 rounds of ammunition. Chirang district SP Sudhakar Singh said that no one has been arrested so far but the operation is on.
