The ISRO launched its EOS-4 (Earth Observation Satellite) today, accompanied by INSPIREsat-1 and INST-2TD. The Earth Observation Satellite is a scientific satellite that can takeclear images of the Eart in all weathers. It will be used for agriculture, flood maping, soil profiling, hydrology, and other uses. It is the agency's first launch of the year 2022 and also the first under its new president S. Somanath. It was launched from Shriharkota, Andra Pradesh.
