Mahatma Gandhi's Answer To Those Who Call Tipu Sultan Communal
Tipu Sultan has been a topic of political controversy for a long time now. To all those who call Tipu communal, Mahatma Gandhi wrote in his newspaper 'Young India' on page 31 in the issue of 23 January 1930 - "Foreign historians have presented Fatah Ali (Tipu Sultan) of Mysore as if he was a victim of bigotry."
