More Cops Died While Nabbing Criminals Than Naxals/Terrorists: NCRB
Statistics from the National Crime Record Bureau show that more policemen are martyred every year in catching goons than terrorists. Uttar Pradesh has the highest number of martyrs. According to the data, in the year 2018, 70 policemen in Uttar Pradesh died while on duty. These included 42 deaths due to accidental gunfire, 22 deaths by robbery, and 4 deaths by separatists operating in the northeastern states. Moreover UP doesn't have any Naxalites or terror groups.
