The Congress party Saturday slammed the Madhya Pradesh's Shivraj Singh Govt for making drastic cuts to the budget for cows and cowsheds. Lakhan Singh Yadav, former Minister of Animal Husbandry in the Kamal Nath govt, said that the budget of the Department of Animal Husbandry in the Congress govt was kept at Rs 132 crore so that a substantial amount could be spent on cows and cowsheds, but the Shivraj Govt has slashed the budget by more than 90%
