There has been a new twist in the ‘cruise ship drugs raid case’ in which superstar actor Shahrukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan has been locked up in jail. Prabhakar Sael, the witness to the drug raid on the ship, has now turned on the NCB itself and has placed the lead investigator in the case since 2nd October, Sameer Wankhede, in the dock. The anti-drugs agency itself has given the nod for an internal inquiry against him.

Speaking to a media channel on Sunday, Sael accused the NCB officer of seeking a bribe of ₹25 crore to scuttle the case against Aryan Khan and prevent him from going to jail.

Who Is Prabhakar Sael?

Prabhakar Sael is one of the two witnesses that the NCB (Narcotics Control Buraeu) took along for the raid on the Cordelia cruise ship. Kiran Gosavi is the other witness and Sael is his bodyguard. These two were official witnesses who observe the agency as they raid, search, and make seizures on site. They record whatever is seized and found during the raid and sign an affidavit of the same. This is called a ‘panchnama’.
