Yesterday, Mandaviya had said: “Our resident doctors have been protesting for the last few days over the delay in NEET-PG counselling. I held a meeting with a delegation of the protesting doctors at Nirman Bhawan to resolve the issue”

Advocate Vineet Jindal has written a letter to the Supreme Court urging it to take suo-moto cognizance of the protests being held under the banner of Federation of Resident Doctors Associations Of India (FORDA). It says that the appeals fo doctors to expedite NEET-PG counselling in order to reduce their workload an fulfil the overall shortage of doctor and health workers has “fallen on deaf ears”.
