Rahul Gandhi: Govt's Responsibility To Keep Parliament In Order

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi today hit back at media stating that it the job of the government to keep the Parlaiment session in order, and not the opposition. The Lok Sabha session was adjourned today till 2 P.M after opposition parties raised objection over several issues including Lakhimpur Kheri violence.

Rahul Gandhi said that the MoS Home Ajay Kumar Mishra should be removed and a discussion on Lakhimpur violence should take place during the ongoing winter session of the Parliament. On October 3, an SUV drove into a group of protestors killing four farmers and a journalist. Ajay Mishra Teni's son, Ashish Mishra, is one of the prime accused in the Lakhimpur Kheri incident.He added that the government has not been letting the opposition parties raise issues on other matters including statehod and inclusion of Ladakh, and Farmer agitation.

The Wayanad MP said that it the duty of the government to run the House, along with responsbility of carrying the debate during the session.  He has also sought for a discussion over Pegasus snooping issue.
