38 people have died in three cities of Punjab due to drinking poisonous liquor, including 19 in Tarn Taran, 10 in Amritsar and 9 in Batala. While one person lost his eyesight. The police have also arrested seven people making illegal liquor, including a woman named Balwinder. During the investigation, five teams raided 40 places of the three cities.
