UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said to media today that the Omicron variant of Covid19 is not as severe as the earlier Delta variant that had caused havoc in the months of April-June last year 2021. Even though precautions and vigilance are required, there is no need to panic, Adityanath said. He said that the Omicron variant only causes symptoms like a normal viral fever and patients affected by it arenot showing any post-COVID complications as in the previous Delta variant.
