The eight members of Parliament (MPs), who were suspended by the Rajya Sabha Chairman, have refused to leave the premises and started a protest. Some MPs of Opposition parties also held protest in front of Gandhi statue in Parliament premises against the suspension of the eight members. DMK MP Tiruchi Siva said, "A lot of ruling party were absent on Saturday. Our number was more in Parliament. Maybe the government would have been hesitant of facing defeat so they resorted to undemocratic means and sadly, the Parliament has become a part of it. Anjali Ojha reports
