Rajasthan Assembly speaker has withdrawn his petition from the Supreme Court. Senior lawyer Varun Chopra, on the Rajasthan political crisis, says that the Congress need not prove majority in the floor test but if Gehlot wants to show his power then he is free to call for a floor test. He also said that since the speaker withdrew his petition from SC, the status quo order by HC on 24th August stays in motion
