Assam BJP's Dibrugarh General Secretary Nayan Das has been arrested on the charges of abetting his wife to commit suicide. His wife was found hanging on July 1. According to Dibrugarh police, an FIR was registered in Tara Das's suicide case after which Nayan Das was arrested. According to Dibrugarh ASP Padmanav Baruah, the preliminary investigation has revealed that the relationship between the two had deteriorated for the last few days.
