C(A)B: Northeast India Remains On The Edge As Protest Intensifies
Three persons were reported dead and several others critically injured during police firing in Assam as thousands took to the streets defying curfew venting out their opposition to the Citizenship (Amendment) Bill. All flights and trains cancelled for the day. Internet and SMS services also blocked for 48 hours.
