The Home Ministry has announced the withdrawal of 10,000 paramilitary personnel from Jammu and Kashmir with immediate effect. The decision has been taken after reviewing the security in the Union Territory. According to the Home Ministry, 20 companies each of the BSF, CISF, and SSB will be recalled in addition to 40 companies of CRPF. All 10,000 jawans will be sent back to their barracks with immediate effect. The move is being seen as a message to Kashmiris from the Central government
