The Congress party on Monday cornered the Modi government over BJP-ruled Gujarat still receiving Chinese investments. The Congress said that while the Chinese army is infiltrating the border, investment of Chinese companies in Gujarat is continuing unabated. It also asked the Prime Minister and the Government of Gujarat to clarify how in the last five years, Chinese companies have invested over Rs 45,000 crore. The party also said that when the whole country is boycotting Chinese goods, then why is the Government of Gujarat laying out the red carpet for Chinese companies even now?
