The national capital is witnessing a resurgence of the novel coronavirus cases. In the last 24 hours, 1,192 new patients have surfaced in the capital which is the second major surge in the last five days. Earlier, 699 new patients were reported on 6 August, 1,076 on 5 August, 674 on 4 August, 805 on 3 August and 961 on 2 August. In the early week of July, on average, more than 2,000 new cases were coming to Delhi every day, but by the end of July and early August, new cases started declining.
