Protests against the contentious agricultural laws are now spreading from Punjab to the neighbouring states. Farmer unions of different states have announced nationwide 'Chakka Jam' against the farm laws, recently cleared in Parliament, on November 3. The decision has been taken in a meeting convened by Haryana Bhartiya Kisan Union on Thursday. Farmers in huge numbers from Punjab, Rajasthan, Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh, and Haryana were present at the meeting. Haryana BKU chief Gurnam Singh Charuni said that the meeting was called to discuss the future strategy for opposing the law at the national level
