The talks between the leaders of over 30 agitating organisations and the Central Government remained inconclusive after the farmers turned down the govt’s offer to set up a committee to look into the issues. Further talks will be held on December 3. "Now is not the time for a committee," farmers' representatives responded to the government which had suggested the formation of a committee, asking farmers to put down the names of their representatives who would be part of it.
