India expressed strong resentment after Turkey raked up the issue of Jammu and Kashmir at the United Nations. On UN's 75th anniversary, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said that Kashmir is a burning issue and important for peace and stability in South Asia. The situation has become more complicated with the elimination of the special status of J&K.
