HelpAge India Study Shows 65% Elderly Lost Livelihood During Lockdown
As coronavirus cases continue to soar across the country, the health of senior citizens (60+ age) warrants urgent attention. A study by HelpAge India says that senior citizens have been the worst hit during the coronavirus induced lockdown. 65% of them lost their livelihood out of whom 71% were sole bread winners of their family.
