Houses Of 5 Accused In MP's Neemuch Lynching Case Demolished

The Madhya Pradesh Police has taken action in the case of lynching and murder of a tribal man in Neemuch district of Madhya Pradesh. The houses of the five accused arrested in this case have been demolished by the police. A video of Kanha alias Kanhiya Bhil being brutally thrashed and dragged to a pickup by a group of people on suspicion of theft had gone viral on social media.

This incident happened from Jethaliya village of Singoli police station area, about 70 km from the district headquarters, on Thursday evening, August 26. In this case, the police had registered cases against eight accused. Police had arrested five of them. Kanhiya Bhil was seriously injured due to brutal beating and dragging. After this he was admitted to the district hospital where he died on Friday evening.
