Researchers at IIT Delhi’s Kusuma School of Biological Sciences have developed an affordable testing kit approved by the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR).

“By the end of Jan we realised that COVID-19 is going to become a global problem and will hit India, so we thought we should start working on it as we would need affordable diagnostics,” said professor Vivekanandan Perumal.
