Indo-Pak War 1971: Listen To Indira Gandhi's Speech Before War That Freed Bangladesh
Today marks the 50th anniversary of a decisive day in the Indo-Pakistan War of 1971 for the liberation of Bangladesh. December 16th is makred as ‘Vijay Diwas’ (Victory Day) around the country as a remembrance of Bangladesh’s success in breaking free of Pakistan and forging its own identity. It is celebrated as ‘Mukti Diwas’ or Independence Day in Bangaldesh.
