A soldier and a militant were killed in an ongoing encounter between security forces and terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir's Pulwama. The terrorists were reported to be hiding in a garden in Karamzipora in Pulwama district, after which security forces surrounded the area and started a search operation. The security forces retaliated when the terrorists opened fire on them. Two military personnel were also injured in the encounter, one of them died in hospital.
