Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the new 341 km long Purvanchal Expressway in Karwal Kheri in #Sultanpur district #UP. He said that the focus of the government was to provide an even pace of development for all regions within the state and the country. Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath was also present on stage. 

He underlined that the construction of the new #expressway was #corruption free. Earlier leaders had concentrated on developing their own or nearby areas but the present government is doing things different and fulfilling the longstanding demand for connectivity in Eastern Up #Purvanchal he said.

The #PM will also witness an #airshow and Mirage 2000 and Su-30MKI #fighterjets will use the emergency landing strip provided on the highway, to enable take offs during emergency situations.
