25% of people are struggling with food shortages in rural areas while 16% have changed their eating habits or reduced their expenses after lockdown, as per a report by Development Alternatives after surveying 30 villages in Bundelkhand. The report states that 70% have either lost their employment in the villages or it has decreased.
