Akhilesh Yadav, the leader of the Samajwadi Party, and West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee addressed a big rally in Varanasi, PM Narendra Modi's constituency, on Thursday. 

Mamata Banerjee, the Chief Minister of West Bengal, stated she was hounded in Varanasi because the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party was frightened of losing the upcoming Uttar Pradesh elections. 

In the presence of party president Akhilesh Yadav and his coalition partner RLD chairman Jayan Choudhary, she spoke at a Samajwadi Party rally in Varanasi.
