Prime Minister Narendra Modi was virtually present for the inauguration of Chittaranjan National Cancer Institute in Kolkata where CM Of West Bengal Mamata Banerjee was also present.

During the virtual address, the CM candidly told the PM that "I have already inaugurated this hospital" during the second wave of the COVID-19 pandemic. She also informed the PM in the virtual conference that 25% of the cost of the hospital has been borne by the state government.
