Manipur Crisis: Assam Minister, Meghalaya CM Visit Imphal In Bid To Secure Government
Meghalaya CM Conrad Sangma and Assam minister Himanta Biswa Sarma reached Imphal on Sunday in an attempt to secure the BJP government in Manipur. On Wednesday, the last three Manipur BJP MLAs joined the Congress and four National People's Party (NPP) MLAs, an Independent MLA and Trinamool Congress MLA withdrew support to the BJP led government and expressed support to the Congress.
